The subtle way that Solakov has intergrated his little drawings in to the patterns on the wall paper has turned a decorative pattern into a series of other worldly stories that are humourous, political and satirical.

ReplyDeleteI really like these images! I think that the idea of narrative through illustration could nicely tie in with any conversational narratives that we may record. Adding hand written text to drawings or photographs might be a nice starting point for designing our tea cups.
